Today, I decided to work with Photoshop as I look more into graphic designing and also wanted to see the transition of the Cinema 4D file to other programs. What I decided to do today was use the ACSS logo I made from Cinema 4D (with the materials) and include it onto the project I did today. On this project, I focused more on using the Hue/Saturation, Exposure and Vibrance functions. Other things I used were a Colour Correction pack, and a neat background I found off of a website called Deviant Art down below. To prevent the logo from looking out of place in the background, I worked on the lighting and added a dirt stock under it.

ACSS InfoTech 2014-15 Day: 4
Today, I worked with adding materials to my Cinema 4D project along with a Lightroom. Getting this done was not too difficult in my opinion as I was fortunate enough to find the right tutorials that were easy to follow. The best part about looking for the Cinema 4D materials to put on your project is that there is a wide variety to choose from such as glass, metal, etc. The two pictures below show the 2 materials I felt were the best. Going forward for this month, I will probably be using the ACSS logo to present my progress/work through the use of photo manipulation and animation.

ACSS InfoTech 2014-15: Day 3
As of right now, I am looking at a few tutorials on how to import any .png file into Cinema 4D using Photoshop CS6. Both videos involve using work paths to transfer your .png to a .AI file which is probably the best option when importing things to Cinema 4D. To start off, I decided to use the ACSS Totems logo. Once I exported the file of the .png into a .AI file, I was able to use it in Cinema 4D with little difficulties. I added an "Extrude Nurbs" to emphasize the 3D feel to the logo itself. At first I had a bit of troubles actually getting the logo into a 3D format but figured out that I had to actually connect both the Extrude Nurbs and ACSS logo together for i

t to work.
In this photo, I show a brief summary of the process I went through to get the ACSS logo into 3D

ACSS InfoTech 12 2014-15: Day 2
Currently, I am thinking about what to do in this course and I am leaning towards graphic designing, video editing and creating my own game. To start the year off, I decided to try out a program called Cinema 4D (by Maxon) and work with another program called Photoshop in which I have a decent amount of experience in. Cinema 4D focuses around 3D modelling and is essential for creations such as 3D animations. What I found neat about this program is that features such as lighting, texturing, rendering and modelling have all been implemented into this program. As of right now, I have a bit of experience with Cinema 4D as I have played around with it before. For the first month or so, my goal is to be more familiar with these types of programs and basically graphic designing in general (ie: Cinema 4D, Photoshop)
